Job Description

The Business Development Manager is responsible for expanding the companyโ€™s footprint within the Indian life insurance agency channel. This role involves identifying, recruiting, and developing strategic partnerships with agencies to drive sales growth and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Identify and cultivate relationships with potential agency partners aligned with the companyโ€™s business objectives.
โ€ข Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
โ€ข Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance agency productivity and performance.
โ€ข Provide ongoing support and guidance to agency partners, addressing their needs and concerns.
โ€ข Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support of agency initiatives.

Requirements:
โ€ข Proven track record in business development and sales within the Indian life insurance industry.
โ€ข Strong understanding of the agency distribution model and its dynamics.
โ€ข Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
โ€ข Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
โ€ข Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
