Job Description
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales operations in a specific area. The role includes handling a sales team, increasing business growth, and achieving assigned sales targets.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the sales team in the assigned area
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets
- Develop and implement sales strategies
- Generate new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
- Monitor team performance and provide training/support
- Conduct regular market visits to understand competition and customer needs
- Prepare and submit sales reports to senior management
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduation completed in any stream
- 2–5 years of experience in field sales
- Team handling experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Target-oriented and self-motivated
- Willing to travel within the assigned area
- Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred
