Job Description
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration within a designated geographical area through the agency channel. This role involves leading and motivating a team of agency managers to achieve sales targets, recruit and develop agents, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
โข Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve area-level sales goals.
โข Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of agency managers.
โข Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
โข Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to agency managers.
โข Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners.
โข Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
โข Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.
โข Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Qualifications:
โข Proven track record in sales management within the Indian life insurance industry.
โข Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
โข Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
โข In-depth knowledge of the Indian life insurance market and regulatory environment.
โข Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
