Job Description

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration within a designated geographical area through the agency channel. This role involves leading and motivating a team of agency managers to achieve sales targets, recruit and develop agents, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve area-level sales goals.
โ€ข Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of agency managers.
โ€ข Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
โ€ข Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to agency managers.
โ€ข Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners.
โ€ข Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
โ€ข Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.
โ€ข Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Qualifications:

โ€ข Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
โ€ข Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
โ€ข In-depth knowledge of the Indian life insurance market and regulatory environment.
