The Business Development Manager in the Agency Channel drives growth in a designated area by building and leading a network of successful agents.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Source, train, and integrate agents to accelerate business in the area.
- Craft strategies to maximize agent productivity and meet sales objectives.
- Provide consistent guidance, feedback, and motivation to agents for results.
- Monitor market shifts and competitor actions to uncover opportunities.
- Work with internal teams to enable agents to achieve their goals.
- Ensure all sales efforts align with company policies and compliance rules.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelorโs degree in any discipline.
- 3-9 years in sales or business development, ideally in insurance.
- History of exceeding sales targets and managing effective teams.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and data analysis skills.
- Ability to develop and execute growth strategies.
